Visit Brownsea Island with car hire at Heathrow Airport

Heathrow car rental could be a great way to take a trip to Brownsea Island in Dorset.

Visitors might like to take part in the Tree-mendous Tree Weekend being held on October 16th and 17th, where families can find out all about the island's shrubbery.

Kids are likely to enjoy running through the autumnal leaves, as well as joining in with a range of art and craft activities.

According to the National Trust, Brownsea Island is a haven for wildlife, including red squirrels, Sika deer and wading birds.

The authority states the area "offers a varied and beautiful landscape for enjoying the wonders of nature", comprising woodland, fields and cliffs.

This could make it the ideal place to enjoy walking – people might like to participate in the guided red squirrel tours taking place from September 27th to October 1st or the early-morning wildlife trail on October 2nd.

It should take car hire users approximately two hours and 20 minutes to reach the island from Heathrow Airport.
