Use Prestwick car hire to enjoy the West End Festival

Visitors to Glasgow might want to use Prestwick Airport car hire to attend the city’s West End Festival.

The event is now in its 15th year and will take place between June 7th and 27th, offering plenty of live music performances, comedy shows and exhibitions at venues throughout Glasgow’s West End.

Some of the bands set to play at this year’s West End Festival include Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti, King Creosote, Veronica Falls and Echo And The Bunnymen frontman Ian McCulloch, who will perform a special solo acoustic set at Oran Mor’s auditorium.

A host of children’s events and activities will also take place to cater for families.

The West End Festival originally began as a one-week event in 1996 and became a permanent fixture on Glasgow’s cultural calendar in 2001.

Some of Glasgow’s other attractions include the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, The Lighthouse – which is Scotland’s centre for architecture and design – and the Glasgow Film Theatre.
