Use car hire to head to Sky Ride cities
Families looking for something fun to do this summer could head to one of the cities hosting the Sky Ride event this year.
The free activity sees kids and parents cycle around cities on traffic-free roads in locations around the country.
Last year saw more than 110,000 people take part in Sky Ride, which is organised annually by Sky and British Cycling.
Participating cities this year include London, Bath, Southampton, Manchester, Middlesbrough, Glasgow, Leicester, Bradford, Blackpool and Birmingham, while smaller Sky Rides will also take place at other locations around the UK.
Families looking to take part in the London Sky Ride may want to use Heathrow car rental to get to the location of the event easily and take in attractions such as the British Museum, the London Eye and the Tower of London while in the area.
Celebrity Sky Ride ambassador Kelly Brook said: "[Sky Ride] is a fantastic initiative and cycling is a great way to stay in shape and keep healthy.
"Since being involved last year. I’ve enjoyed getting out and about on my bike more."
