Use car hire at Stansted for ‘monster’ fun

Users of car hire at Stansted Airport can enjoy family entertainment in an historic city if they head up to Cambridge on September 11th.

On that date, the Cambridge Dragon Boat Festival takes place, held at Fen Ditton, featuring a series of rowing boat races with the vessels themselves decked out in a traditional Chinese style.

There is plenty happening onshore as well, with dragon costumes and Chinese-themed activities taking place by the river bank and the whole day is geared towards raising money for local hospices.

All this fun is just some of what a day in Cambridge can offer, with the historic city opening many of its famous colleges to the public, where people can enjoy the architecture, ambience and history, while those who fancy spending some time on the river themselves can go punting.

To get to Cambridge from Stansted is simple; just head north up the M11 and leave at junction 11 for the A10 into the city.
