The Electric Eel boat, which recently took its 100,000th passenger, has been carrying visitors to see a variety of creatures on the How Hill Nature Reserve for 23 years.

Sam Bates, visitor services manager at the Broads Authority, described the trip as a unique journey through one of the most stunning parts of the area.

"It has enabled both young and old to experience the tranquility and magic of the Broads and to appreciate the wildlife flora and fauna that makes this area such a special place," he continued.

According to the authority, people can expect to see dragonflies, damselflies, Swallowtail butterflies, birds and rare aquatic plants.

The journey from Stansted Airport to the Norfolk Broads should take car hire users approximately two hours, if they select the M11 and exit at Junction 9 onto the A11.
