The Kew for some natural fun with Heathrow car rental
Those using Heathrow car rental may wish to head into London to enjoy the last weeks of Kew Gardens' Year of Biodiversity.
Running until September 5th, the Family Biodiversity Trail offers the chance to explore the interactive aspect of nature and how all the organisms in the ecosystem need each other to survive, through the maintenance of the balance of the environment.
It also shows children how they can increase biodiversity in their own back yards or school playgrounds by creating habitats for different animals to live in, from amphibians to creepy-crawlies.
Kew has a wide and varied collection of plants to enjoy, including many rare species, making the gardens as a whole a major tourist attraction.
Getting from Heathrow to Kew is easy, with most of the journey involving a drive along the M4 motorway towards central London.
At Junction 1, take the exit for Chiswick signed A406 / A205, with the latter road taking you the short distance to the gardens.
