See spectacular fireworks with car hire at Manchester Airport

People taking advantage of car hire at Manchester Airport might like to head to Alton Towers theme park to witness one of Britain's traditional fireworks displays.

Named the Ultimate Fireworks Event, the celebrations are being held across three evenings, from November 5th to 7th.

According to the park, the display will be its biggest and best ever, in celebration of its new rollercoaster TH13TEEN and its 30th anniversary.

"With the famous towers as the backdrop, the event promises to deliver a world-class spectacular fireworks display, unique to the UK's number one theme park," Alton Towers stated.

And those wanting to spend extra time on the rides will be able to enjoy the attractions until 21:00 GMT on these themed evenings.

Alton Towers is located near Stoke-on-Trent, an hour-and-a-quarter drive away from Manchester Airport.

Car hire users should select Outwood Lane when leaving the airport and head towards Macclesfield, before taking the A523.
