Held at Cardiff Castle on the weekend of September 25th and 26th, the event offers a chance to sample all sorts of cheeses from the length and breadth of Britain, be they familiar favourites or unusual varieties.

Visitors can shop in the markets, try samples themselves and see masterclasses in cheese making going on.

As well as offering the family plenty to nibble on, there is plenty of entertainment and a chance for the grown up who is not driving to sample some beer and wine, all amid the historic features of the castle.

To get to Cardiff from Heathrow is very easy, with most of the journey being made via the M4, heading westwards past Bristol and over the River Severn toll bridge into Wales, before taking the A48 (M) turning off the M4 and into Cardiff.
