Car hire at Heathrow Airport could take people into central London for some vintage shopping.

According to an article in the Guardian based on readers' suggestions of the best vintage stores in the world, people looking for something special should head to Rellik, on Golborne Road.

A contributor writing under the name Emsdarling said visitors to the boutique will discover "rail upon rail of designer names and high-quality pieces", from 50s Dior suits to Vivienne Westwood.

"It's all scandalously glamorous but also surprisingly wearable," the individual remarked.

People might also like to head to Radio Days in Waterloo, which is described as a "real experience" by a reader named LadyLouise62.

The store has very friendly staff and sells a whole host of collectible items, as well as clothes, which are all carefully chosen, the writer commented.

Car hire users can expect to reach central London in around half-an-hour, if they drive along the M4 and continue onto the A4.
