Nature reserve park ‘offers accessibility to all’
Car hire customers who are looking to experience something different may want to try out the Wicken Fen Nature Reserve.
This is because it has received a commendation in the first ever Rough Guides Accessible Britain Awards.
By making the shortlist in the Best Active Venue Category, the company stated that it is one of only a handful to have gone past the what was required to be "accessible [and] inspirational" while producing inclusive days out.
Chris Soans, Wicken Fen Property operations manager, noted that all the activities available at the park are wheelchair accessible.
He added that the entire team are "determined to ensure that all visitors have a fantastic and rewarding experience when visiting Wicken Fen".
It was recently observed by James Brooke, managing director of the British Leisure Show, that pastimes such as mountaineering, canoeing and fishing can all be tried in the UK, an area of tourism that is becoming increasingly popular.
