Motor madness with Heathrow car hire
Heathrow car hire users will be able to find out about more than just the car they are driving if they head to Coventry next month.
Famous as a centre of car making in the UK, the city is home to the Coventry Transport museum, which hosts its Festival of Motoring Weekend on September 4th and 5th.
This will involve a major parade starting at Millenium Place on the Saturday and continues by the War Memorial on nearby Kenilworth Road on the Sunday as around 500 vehicles of all shapes and sizes take to the road.
Cars, motorcyles and buses from down the years will be taking part, ensuring those who love anything on four wheels have lots to interest them.
Coventry's other attractions include its cathedral, which was famously damaged by bombs in the Second World War in heavy raids that prompted the twinning of the city with Dresden in Germany after the conflict.
To get to Coventry, take the M4 from Heathrow to join the M25, switching to the M40 at Junction 16.
This stretch of motorway makes up most of the stretch to Coventry, going as far as Junction 15 near Leamington, where you should take the 4th exit at the roundabout onto the A46 to Coventry.
