Manchester Airport car hire users could enjoy Derby festival

People taking advantage of car hire at Manchester Airport might wish to head to Derby to enjoy a programme of outdoor performances.

The Derby Feste will be characterised by the theme of Colour and Light this year and includes live bands, photo galleries, discos and workshops.

Set to take place from September 24th to 26th, the event offers plenty to do for children, such as the Tate Movie Truck, where youngsters can help create a new feature-length animation film.

Furthermore, people of all ages are welcome to join in the dance and music workshop entitled Bright in the Corner Where You Are, where visitors can participate as either spectators or performers.

In order to reach Derby by car, motorists should take the M56 from Manchester Airport, followed by the A556 and the M6, heading towards Stoke-on-Trent.

Exit the M6 at junction 15 and follow the A500 towards Fenton before taking the A50 to Derby.
