London to offer plenty for car hire customers?

Car rental customers and other tourists in London can benefit from a number of different activities, an expert has claimed.

Jacqueline French, spokesperson for Visit London, noted that there is "something for every type of traveller".

For those who enjoy their food, she remarked, there are 48 Michelin-starred restaurants, while people interested in fashion can visit any number of markets.

Ms French revealed that the best way to get value for money is to research the trip before leaving, adding that "London has a huge number of free attractions, as well as paid-for attractions".

She described the city as a "unique" destination, as there are number of pastimes that can only be experienced in the capital.

Newly-released figures from PKF Hotel Consultancy Services have shown that hoteliers experienced a growth in February, with room rates being up 2.7 per cent on the same time last year, while occupancy increased by 6.4 per cent.
