London sights recommended to romantic tourists
London car hire customers looking for romantic activities this Valentine’s Day have been offered a number of tips.
Leisure Pass Group noted that its sightseeing pass for the English capital offers an opportunity to take in a wide range of sights.
Those buying the ticket can avoid queues at many top attractions, while a free guidebook could help London car rental customers find their way around.
In addition to the Tower of London and St Paul’s Cathedral, the pass – which costs adults £39 for one day and £54 for two – allows for a romantic river cruise along the Thames.
And tourists hoping to continue the Valentine’s theme can enjoy free entrance to Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre Exhibition, as well as Hampton Court – made famous by Henry VIII.
Kurt Janson of The Tourism Alliance recently highlighted London as a "trophy" destination, with many people from around the world placing it on their lists of must-see places.
