It’s a dog’s life with car hire at Manchester Airport

For those using car hire at Manchester Airport who can't get enough of man's best friend, the Darlington Championship Dog Show takes place over the weekend of September 17th to 19th.

It is held at Newby Hall, giving you a chance to look around the extensive grounds of the mansion as well as see the various pedigree pooches.

Entry to the hall itself is £4 for adults and £3 for children and this includes parking.

The event will have judging taking place at various times from 09:30 to 3:30 BST each day, with the latter being the final group marking event.

Other features of the hall and grounds include its sculpture park and woodland walk.

To get to Newby Hall, take the M56 and A5103 to reach the M60 Manchester orbital motorway, taking the M62 towards Leeds, exiting at Junction 29 for the M1 signposted towards London.

Join the A1(M) northbound from here and continue as far as Junction 48, taking the turn for the A168 and then the B6265.

To complete the journey, turn left onto High Moor road and continue onto Lodge Lane, where Newby Hall is.
