Horsey fun with Heathrow car rental

Heathrow car rental users may wish to see many grand mansions as they tour England and September will provide an extra reason for going to Blenheim Palace.

The Fidelity Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials will take place from September 9th to 12th, offering fans of show jumping a chance to spend up to three days watching top-class action in an event that attracts many of the top stars in the sport.

Crowds of thousands regularly attend the trials each year, so there is bound to be plenty of atmosphere.

In addition to the standard jumping, there are also cross-country trails on the Friday and the Saturday.

Blenheim Palace itself offers plenty to see, with its baroque architecture, 2,100 acres of parkland and its historical significance as the birthplace of Winston Churchill.

Located near Woodstock in Oxfordshire, it is simple to reach from Heathrow.

Starting out onto the M4 motorway, join with the M25 heading northbound and then exit for the M40 heading towards Oxford.

Exit for the A40 at junction 8 and take this road to bypass Oxford, joining the A44 to Woodstock just north of the city.
