Heathrow car rental could lead to a spooky adventure

People using Heathrow car rental might like to visit Oxford Castle, where a Halloween-themed Ghost Fest is taking place next month.

From October 1st-31st, car hire users can join in spooky adventures like ghost hunting and Fright Nights tours.

According to its website, Oxford Castle is one of the most haunted buildings in Britain.

And visitors will have the chance to explore it alongside a team of paranormal investigators, who will lead a tour of the castle, explaining the science behind ghost hunting and telling scary tales.

On the Fright Nights events, individuals will be taken on a trip around the building and hear real-life experiences and historical tales.

The ancient castle and prison hides a past of great escapes, betrayal and even romance, its website states.

Oxford is less than an hour's drive away from Heathrow Airport and can be reached via the M4 and M25.

At Junction 16 of the M25, car hire users should exit onto the M40 before taking the A40 into Oxford.
