Heathrow car rental could be perfect for book lovers

Heathrow car rental could be a great way to discover and enjoy British literature, with a ten-day book event taking place next month.

The Times Cheltenham Literature Festival is within driving distance of the airport and is set to host a number of award-winning writers when it is held from October 8th to 17th.

According to Visit Cotswolds, literary greats including Salman Rushdie, Philip Pullman and Jostein Gaarder will be present at the event, as will celebrities such as Dawn French, Michael Caine and Graham Norton.

The tourism authority said the festival's appeal lies in the "unique interaction between writer and reader" that it offers.

Furthermore, it has a programme designed especially for families and young readers named Book It!, where children can watch performances by authors such as Jeremy Strong.

It should take car hire users under two hours to reach Cheltenham from Heathrow Airport via the M4.

Drivers need to exit the motorway at Junction 15 and take the A419, followed by the A417.
