Have spooky fun with car hire at Gatwick Airport
October 31st is a traditional day for all things spooky and those using car hire at Gatwick Airport can join in with a week of frights and ghoulish goings-on at Hever Castle in Kent.
During the week of October 25th -31st there is a half-term themed week aimed at youngsters that includes scary story telling, the chance to take part in ghostly craft activities and a tour of the gardens, where the ghosts of Hever past can be discovered on the Pumpkin Trail.
And a family tour of the castle itself can offer a chance to look at its dark nooks and crannies.
Hever Castle is famous for its royal connections, as it was once the home of one of King Henry VIIIs' wives, Anne Boleyn, who was beheaded by the monarch.
To get to Hever from Gatwick, take the M23 southbound to Junction 10, before taking the turning for the A264.
This will lead onto the A2028, which passes through Lingfield to reach the A2026 to Edenbridge, from which a minor road leads to Hever.
