Good news for car hire customers with hay fever?

Car hire customers who suffer from hay fever may be interested to hear that Volvo cars may provide relief from the symptoms.

All of the manufacturer’s automobiles are now fitted with a filter that can trap tiny particles of pollen.

Manager of allergy-optimised car interiors at the company Andreas Andersson said: "The filters we fit to clean the passenger compartment air also remove the particles that cause allergies."

He added that a ride could make breathing easier and that it is the small pieces that are dangerous because they can cause health issues in the long term.

The company noted that people whose jobs involve driving on a daily basis are more at risk as they spend large amounts of time in their vehicles every day.

Car rental customers who are planning a break over the bank holiday are being urged by Marks & Spencer to take care and make checks on their motors before long journeys.
