Go ice skating with Heathrow car rental

People using Heathrow car rental might enjoy the new outdoor ice skating rink in Winchester, which was recently selected as one of the best in the UK this winter.

Oliver Smith of the Daily Telegraph said: "Some of Britain's most attractive settings are converted into ice rinks for yuletide."

And the rink at Winchester Cathedral is one of his favourites, as he notes it is set against the backdrop of a Gothic building and a large, German-style Christmas market, which runs until December 20th.

The ice skating facility offers mulled wine and strudels and is open until January 3rd, with one-hour sessions costing £9.20 for adults and £7.20 for children.

Winchester is approximately an hour's drive from Heathrow Airport and car hire users can reach it by heading along the M4 and exiting at Junction 4b onto the M25.

From there, motorists should take the M3 at Junction 12, heading towards Southampton.
