Gatwick car hire users to attend Christmas food festival?

People taking advantage of car hire at Gatwick Airport might enjoy a trip down to Shoreham-by-Sea on the south coast.

The town is hosting the Shoreham Christmas Food and Drink Festival on December 11th and 12th, where visitors will be able to sample and purchase a range of quality food and drink from local and regional producers.

There will also be arts, crafts and gifts stalls for those keen to purchase some unusual Christmas presents, as well as charity fundraising booths.

Furthermore, the event will team up with the farmers' market that takes place in East Street and St Mary's Road, where over 80 producers will be selling their wares.

Shoreham-by-Sea may well prove an interesting place to explore for a few days, as according to Visit South-East England, it is a historic town with old cottages and beautiful churches.

The tourism authority adds it is a vibrant and unique place, with some "stunning new developments along its riverside and harbour front".
