Explore an enchanted forest using Edinburgh car rental

Car hire at Edinburgh Airport could take people on a journey to the Enchanted Forest sound and light show.

Billed by organisers as "a feast for your senses", the performance is set in Faskally Wood near Pitlochry and runs from October 22nd to November 7th.

The show uses the forest as a natural backdrop and attracts some 20,000 visitors each year.

2010's edition is entitled Force of Nature and will see families exploring the wood in "a unique outdoor experience that will set your imagination alight", according to the event's website.

Derek Allan, chairman of the Enchanted Forest, recently said the show will be produced by a team of experts in lighting and sound design, rather than a single company as it has been in the past.

"The effect will be a more naturalistic style of show which will truly enhance the beauty of the autumnal forest setting," he remarked.

Car hire users should be able to drive to Faskally Wood from Edinburgh in about an-hour-and-a-half if they take the M9 out of the airport.
