Enjoy prom in the valleys with Heathrow car rental

Back in London, on September 11th the Last Night of the Proms will take place at the Royal Albert Hall, but recent years have seen the establishment of Proms in the Park, with a series out outdoor big-screen broadcasts of the event and this year it is Swansea's turn.

Visitors to the city can enjoy the evening's entertainment in Singleton Park from 19:45 BST, with Welsh tenors and harpists providing live music in the park to complement the festivities being broadcast from London.

Those coming to Swansea can also enjoy some of the scenery in the area during their visit, with the adjacent Gower Peninsula being a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty due to its rugged cliffs and sandy beaches.

To reach Swansea from Heathrow Airport, drive down the M4 motorway westwards past Bristol, before crossing the Severn Bridge into Wales.

Continue on the M4 to Junction 42 just outside the city and take the A483 to reach the city.
