Enjoy National Parks Week with car hire

Holidaymakers looking for something to do in the last week of July might want to consider one of the many events taking place as part of National Parks Week.

Between July 26th and August 1st, car hire users will be able to travel to destinations such as the Brecon Beacons, Dartmoor, Exmoor, the Lake District, the South Downs and the Cairngorms for a host of special activities.

Highlights include the Hands on Heritage event at Dartmoor National Park in Devon, which includes quizzes, dig boxes and demonstrations and could be particularly accessible for those using Heathrow car rental via Exeter and the A30.

National parks cover 9.3 per cent of England’s land area, as well as almost 20 per cent of Wales and 7.2 per cent of Scotland and attract over 125 million people every year.

Other UK national parks include the Yorkshire Dales, the Broads, Northumberland and the Peak District.
