Those looking to enjoy some of Britain's industrial heritage will be able to do so in true Roman style up to the end of August using Heathrow car rental.

Bath takes its name from the famous Roman baths in the city and not only are these open to the public, but they are open in the evenings up until August 31st.

This means visitors can walk around these famous old ruins by candlelight, getting a true feel of what the place must have been like in its Roman heyday.

With last entry at 21:00, you can stay until 22:00 and enjoy baths without getting wet.

Visitors to the city can also experience its other historic sights and attractions, from the only bridge in Britain with shops all along both sides to Bath Abbey and the iconic crescent building.

Getting to Bath from Heathrow is simple, as most of the journey westwards can be accomplished on the M4 motorway as far as Junction 18.

From here, the A46 heads south to the edge of the city, with the A4 then taking you into the centre.
