Eat well with car hire at Glasgow Airport

September could be a great month for food lovers using car hire at Glasgow Airport as Scottish Food and Drink Fortnight takes place, with one event taking place in the town of Renfrew.

The East Renfrewshire Food Festival takes place from September 11th to 18th and includes chances to sample local foods as well as those from around the world.

Visitors can try a Scotch Pie at the Whitelee Wind Farm – the biggest onshore installation of its type in Britain – as well as a Russian evening of food and music at Eastwood Park Theatre, which also offers a whisky-tasting evening.

All this takes place close to both the museums, shops and other city attractions of Glasgow, as well as the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park a short distance to the north.

To get to EastwoodPark Theatre from Glasgow Airport, take Inchinnan Road into the centre of Paisley, joining the A726 fringing the town centre and heading south to Giffnock, with the theatre located by the roundabout that joins the A77(M).
