Car hire customers to visit Winchester?
Car hire customers may be interested to know that Winchester is to hold a series of activities this Easter.
Visitors will be given the opportunity to explore the life of Jane Austen, which will include a tour of Winchester Cathedral, her final resting place.
Alternatively, from April 2nd to 10th, children have the chance to learn how make a nest and match eggs to their animals at Marwell Wildlife, while kids who love Thomas the Tank Engine, will be able to catch him on the Watercress Line.
A world war exhibition is also on April 4th and 5th at Fort Nelson armoury museum, involving "real machine guns, artillery and big gun firings, armoured vehicles and pyrotechnics as British, American, Russian and German soldiers of the 1940s battle for control of the ramparts".
It was recently stated that those looking to for something to do over the bank holiday weekend could visit the Ironbridge Gorge Museums, which is hosting various "quirky events".
