Car hire customers to visit the Soho hotel?

Car hire customer arriving into Heathrow who need somewhere to stay may want to go to the Soho Hotel, it has been suggested.

This is because it has been voted the place to be in the capital by visitors from all over the world, according to a poll by TripAdvisor.

One tourist encapsulated why it had won by saying, "a fabulous hotel, staff and experience".

Alison Copus, vice-president of marketing in Europe for the organisation, said: "Come 2012, all eyes will be on our capital city and London hotels are clearly going to have to raise their game to make sure they provide world-class accommodation."

The Bermondsey Square Hotel also fared well in the survey as it was voted the fifth trendiest location in Europe.

It was recently revealed by TRI Hospitality that the city saw profits in the industry improve by almost a quarter in December – with the strong finish seeing takings only drop by 7.8 per cent for the entire year.
