Car hire customers to visit Newport?

Car hire customers looking for something to do over the bank holiday weekend may like to consider a trip to the Newport Bay Spring Festival.

The theme for the four-day event is ‘A day at the seaside’ and visitors can take part in a number of activities including kayaking, kite flying and mountain-biking.

A golf competition at Newport links course is planned for the first day and that will be followed by refreshments in the clubhouse.

Children will be able to participate in games and sports and they will also get the chance to watch puppet shows and see traditional maypole dancing.

During Friday (April 30th) evening, car hire customers and tourists will be able to go to a concert in the Memorial Hall by Phantom Limb featuring Yolanda Quartey.

David White, customer services director at Kwik-Fit, recently gave advice to motorists and car hire customers planning a May Day break, saying that vehicle batteries and tyres should be checked before long journeys.
