Car hire customers to sample luxurious hotels?

Car hire customers looking for somewhere to stay may be interested to know that two hotels in the UK have been named in a list that covers the whole world.

The Great Hotels of the World has announced who and where will be making it into the 2010 Luxury Travel Collection Directory, which has "over 80 of the world’s finest hotels and resorts showcasing the highest standards".

The two English buildings featured in the rundown are the St James Club and Hotel in London and Gloucestershire’s Cotswold House.

Each location is given a double-page spread in the catalogue, with "stunning images, hotel facts, exclusive packages and offers, details on spa treatments and golf course information" available to all.

It was recently announced that The Rudding Park Hotel in Harrogate had been named the UK’s best hotel in the TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice awards, after it was praised for its excellent service. The Manor Coach House in Worcester was named runner-up.
