Car hire customers to go to Center Parcs?

Car hire customers who have young families may want to consider going to Center Parcs, as it has been named Best UK Holiday Provider by Tommy’s Let’s Get Baby Friendly Awards.

Helen Horner, marketing manager for the attraction, noted that it was the seventh consecutive year it has won the category, which she described as evidence of the fantastic activities, facilities and services available.

The honours started in 1995 as an effort to raise awareness over the needs to design amenities that are user-friendly for parents with babies and toddlers.

Over 127,500 votes were cast during the nomination period, with celebrity mums including Jo Whiley and Amanda Lamb presenting prizes at the event. Other groups included Best Family Supermarket and Best Online Children’s Retailer.

Tommy’s chief executive Jane Brewin said: "We thank and encourage those organisations and people who go that extra mile, to reduce the stresses and strains of everyday life for parents in the UK."
