Car hire customers find out where to stay in London

Car hire customers coming from Gatwick airport who are looking for somewhere to stay in London may be interested to know that a list of the top ten hotels in the capital has been published.

Hotels.com surveyed over 800 UK and Ireland guests for the poll, which saw the Radisson Edwardian New Providence in Canary Wharf emerge on top – its average mark out of ten was 9.2.

The website noted that "customer ratings are becoming increasingly important to [attract] new guests" and the Radisson was praised for its great service and friendly staff.

Completing the rest of the top three are the Grand in Trafalgar Square and the Club Quarters in St Pauls – both scoring 8.8 in the survey.

According to VisitBritain, increased numbers of tourists from China, Brazil and Russia will be holidaying in England as their nations become richer, which could boost the car hire industry in Britain.
