Prospective car hire customers in the UK may be interested to hear news of Budget Car Rental’s plans to expand.

According to the operator, it is going to add six new locations at airports across the country with the first to open at Liverpool John Lennon Airport in May, Carrentals.co.uk reports.

The publication stated it is a boost to the economy, which is on its way to recovery and Budget Car Rental spokesman Stuart Liddle was quoted as saying it is an exciting time for the brand.

Airports in Exeter, London, Bristol, east midlands and Newcastle are the other five places that will see the arrival of new car hire offices.

Once the expansion is finished, the company will have 60 stations across the country along with the 3,400 global locations.

One organisation recently stated car hire customers can save money on fuel by sticking to the speed limits.

The Institute of Advanced Motorists made the comment and it suggested drivers spend four pence less per mile if they drive at 70mph rather than 80mph.
