Car hire at Manchester Airport may lead to festive family fun

Car hire at Manchester Airport could take people to Staffordshire, which has plenty of festive activities on offer.

From November 12th, Trentham Estate will be transformed into Santa's Wonderland, with wooden chalets selling mulled wine, gifts and local produce, as well as a real ice rink set on the lake.

There are other shopping opportunities to be had at Lichfield on December 11th and 12th, where people can sip hot chocolate and mulled wine while watching dancing and drama performances as well as carol singing before perusing the market stalls.

And there's something for the children at Drayton Manor Theme Park, which will have a special Christmas theme from November 27th to January 2nd.

Visitors can expect to see thousands of decorations and lights, snow machines and festive showings at the 4D cinema.

The attraction is situated close to Tamworth, which is approximately an-hour-and-a-half drive away from Manchester Airport, with the route taking people south along the M6.
