Car hire at Manchester Airport could lead to Halloween tour
People using car hire at Manchester Airport next month might like to take a Halloween trip to the Peak District for a ghost tour.
Peak Cavern is organising a series of candle-lit trails through its caves every weekend in October, which could be ideal for children.
And car hire users might like to combine their visit with a walk through the Peak District, as according to the cavern's website, the approach to the area is "awe-inspiring" and takes people on a riverside stroll past old miners' cottages.
Located in the village of Castleton, the cave claims to have the largest natural entrance in the UK.
And on Friday and Saturday evenings leading up to the end of October, visitors' nerves will be tested as they listen to spooky ghost stories.
Children who love Halloween might also enjoy a trip to the Tropical Butterfly House, where they can carve pumpkins, take a ride around the Freaky Forest and try witches' brews every weekend from October 2nd to 31st.
